The compact vertical lathes are designed for stand alone applications or easy integration into production lines. They feature a heavy duty Meehanite cast iron construction with a rigid column and base which are heavily ribbed to minimize thermal distortion and vibration. The X and Z axis linear guide ways are completely enclosed and a forced lubrication system ensures high precision. The high speed linear way system delivers fast rapid traverse rates.
