Summit VL Series
Massa heavy duty ram type vertical turning lathes are designed for heavy duty and high precision cutting of medium and large parts. Meehanite cast iron frames and box ways ensure the machines have the rigidity to handle heavy cuts. The Massa machines also boast geared table drives that generate tremendous table torque. The large spindle motor coupled with a 2-speed ZF gear box delivers plenty of torque for heavy duty machining as well as the higher speeds you need for fine finishing.
